Bingo, the owner of the guitar shop where Sam buys his guns, is played by Rat Scabies, a member of the band “The Damned..” Appeared on The Graham Norton Show: Cher / Keira Knightley / Michael Fassbender / Josh Brolin / Jalen Ngonda (2024).
The cinematography and camerawork are excellent
This is an action thriller with many ingredients that could make it a memorable film this Christmas season. The performances of the lead actors are commendable. There is Keira Knightley, Ben Wishaw, Sarah Lancashire and to some extent action star Andrew Koji.
The direction is decent
The source material is solid. However, there is something about the plot development that hinders the enjoyment of the series. If you need extended scenes to explain who did what, when, and why in a fairly simple exposition, then something is wrong.
The late exposition was disappointing
The story should not leave the viewer in the dark for too long. In this case, the answers came late. It did not build tension if that was the intention.
It would have been better if the viewer had to solve the questions themselves as the story progressed, rather than being handed a spoon
Regardless, this issue aside, it is still an enjoyable piece of work that makes it clear that a second season is on the way. No need to waste your time scrolling endlessly: here is the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
