Often a caregiver for people like her father who are supposed to care for her, Lily Trevino longs for family connection after her mother abandoned her as a child and then suddenly her father in his twenties. Bob Trevino works long hours alone at a construction company to support his wife Jeanieβs scrapbooking. The couple has been through a lot over the past decade, and Bob has struggled to put his wife first to the point of ignoring his own feelings and needs for friendship, meaning, and connectionβthat is, until he receives an unexpected Facebook message from a stranger. Lily and Bobβs blossoming friendship becomes a major source of connection and healing in their lives.
